Over the past three years, I have been deeply interested in the aquarium hobby, starting with freshwater and later moving on to the more challenging saltwater aquarium-keeping side of the hobby. I now maintain a fully established 20-gallon saltwater aquarium, which houses multiple fish and corals. This hobby has turned into a passion as I have developed a deep fascination with marine and estuarine life. I often spend my free time studying marine biology, researching different species, and following the latest advancements in the field.
My passion for everything related to the oceans goes beyond just aquarium-keeping. I have volunteered with many ocean management and clean-up groups around Hawaii, where I have family. Participating in these groups has not only allowed me to contribute to the protection of marine life but has also given me the opportunity to learn more about the ocean and its ecosystems in that area of the world.
In the near future, I plan to obtain my diver's license so that I can explore the sea in open water. I believe that being able to dive will allow me to gain a deeper understanding of the ocean and its inhabitants in their natural habitat.
At Reef eScape, I have learned a great deal helping maintain systems in the field for service customers. Now, I bring my experience and knowledge to the retail side, where I am excited to share my passion for aquarium-keeping and marine life with others.
